We had a nice stay at Stay@matthuga. We really enjoyed it. You have established a really nice place. For the Europe region we have a good webpage for informing about several accommodations and hotels:
http://www.holidaycheck.com/hotel-travel+information_Guesthouse+Stay+Matthuga-hid_522897.html
(It's the same like "www.tripadvisor.com" for the asian region). I asked there for generation a entry for your house.
They did it and we gave a good valuation!
I wrote a detailed description, put in the GPS coordinates and some own pictures.
I will be a pleasure to recommend your accommodation to friends and colleagues.
Thank you!

This is a perfect destination for people who just want to relax and stay away from the chaos of the city life. The place is very well and cleanly maintained, with good and modern amnities, mainly the bathrooms which are are very clean. The best part of this place is the home cooked food prepared by Mr.Vignesh's wife, it was just too delicious, a perfect cuisine for pure vegetarians. Most important is the hospitality shown by Mr. Vignesh & his family, we felt that we were statying at our own house. All together this is an ideal place to stay, with everything being just perfect.

Matthuga was a wonderful experience for us to celebrate our first anniversary. The hospitality here is truly unmatched. It was a nice experience getting photographs of many species of insects out here. The food was simply great and Shri Vignesh & Mrs Vignesh treated us with utmost care and concern and suggested all suitable ways to plan our trip. Wonderful to have a place out of network coverage and TV and great to relax with the greenery. I have updated our stay at Matthuga in my blog too. ( http://heege-summane. blogspot.com/2009/09/trip-to-jog-falls-stay-matthuga-day-1.html) Congrats to Narahari and team for this homely experience. Keep up the good work.

The entire idea of having a home stay so close to so many beautiful places in Shimoga district is in itself a plus point. Added to that is the wonderfully made architecture with spacious rooms and well made bathrooms. Vignesh and team are simply amazing in hospitality. It was very memoriable and will surely suggest to one and all.

We came back from the paradise yesterday evening. The stay has been extremely satisfactory. Considering that fact In and around Jog there is no good place to stay, I guess it is one of the good strategic decisions that which has been taken to build Matthuga Home Stay near Jog Falls. The overall stay have been very satisfactory by everyone of us.
Some of the good points that we can think of Matthuga Home Stay is:
Good Entrance, Very well illuminated, Many options for guests to sit private (you have balcony in 1st floor, canopy, some sit outs next to the gate) though being under one roof, No TV, Clean and tidy, Very good food, Good landscaping design. Care takers are kind by heart, they were giving good service to all of us. A special thanks to Mr. Vignesh.

This is to thank you for the hospitality extended for our people that day
at your Homestay. The food was excellant and your staff were very very
courteous and looked after us very well. I and a number of persons in our
group look forward to spend a day or two at the resort.

Stay@Mathunga, is a Quaint little place, 8 Kms from Jog Falls. By far the best and only accommodation near Jog. 7 Good Clean rooms and bath rooms Surrounding areas we green and a something that one cannot get bored looking at. Select the 1st Floor rooms. Highly recommended, if you are looking for some peace and quite away from Mobiles, Internet and all the creature comforts.
Best Experience: The house Keeper was very good, helpful. He lives with his family, so the food is made by his wife. Food is home made and is devoid of all things harmful. Milk is from their own cow, so the Coffee is nice and thick and not watered down. The house keeper shared some of the Ghee his wife had made for her house. It was simply one of the best Ghees I have tasted.
The silence, the ambiance of the surrounding areas, the enjoyable simplicity, made me realize that 5 Star is here.
What can be improved
1. Approach road
2. The rooms dont have sit outs.
3. The 1st Floor common area is too bare so there is a lot of echo.
Go on Week days to avoid the brash techie crowds who will definitely be a hindrance to enjoy the peace by their loud music.

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at your home-stay. The manager and his wife were very polite, helpful and friendly. The food was plentiful and all delicious. The home-stay location was wonderfully decorated and set in beautiful gardens and very peaceful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
The only comment/suggestion I would have would be to offer foreign tourists a pre-arranged taxi if they are arriving by train.

Firstly, I would like to appreciate the response of you and your team. To elaborate further I and my colleagues thoroughly enjoyed out Stay @ Matthuga and we are sure that we will revisit again. I would like to put forth the exhilarating experience we had during our visit to "Burude Falls" and also the early morning trek to the nearly hillock. The overall experience has been one off distressing get together and I would highly recommend this to busy professions who wish to unwind in the lap of nature. This combined with great hospitality, homely food and a very supporting staff of Matthuga and a special mention of your friendly guide Mr. Vasudev Naik who took us to all the unexplored places, made our visit worthwhile.

Calm, serene, dead silence, peace prevailing atmosphere. True home away from Home. Special thanks to Narahari, Vignesh for courteous hospitality, home made steaming - kotte kadabu. When you visit dont miss it. Demand it. Surprisingly the Kallusanka - one of the four natural brdige in the world, is just two kms from Mattuga towards Jog Falls. The beautiful lake of Manmane near Mattuga towards Talguppa are to be mentioned. The red lotus, the blue water, the humming birds, tranquility is something one should experience.

Stay at Mattuga was :[some pics attached]
- Very much like a home that I'd like to have
- of course, without the management of it !
- Comfortable and we happen to have the entire place !
- Good and tasty [Jog/Udupi taste probably] food
- Liked the Cows, Calf : gave a rustic but pleasant feeling
- Plantation easily accessible and friendly staff
- Nice, clean and well designed rooms
Overall, a very good job and after the landscaping, it will look really good.
